Facilities at Narrawong

In the down time or the case of nasty weather there's still plenty to be done at Narrawong Island Coastal Group Accommodation. Our games room is set up with table tennis, air hockey, arcade games, skill testers and plenty of table space for a Uno battle or Guess Who challenge. There's a well stocked library and reading corner suitable for all ages and a great display of local fish to inspire any budding anglers.

The park is perfectly appointed for group bookings with a large multi-purpose room suitable for meetings, group games, meals and more.

It has an overhead projector and large screen, kitchenette, storage room, activity boxes (for schools) all with river and ocean views. It is conveniently located at the end of the row of cabins next to the bridge to the beach.

During the summer months the river and beach are perfect venues for group paddling and swimming. With shallow entry points and a sandy bottom the river is perfect for aquatic activities such as kayaking, stand up paddle boarding with all conducted by qualified instructors and available to school groups. there are so many places to try your luck fishing with a variety of species being targets for budding angkers - mullet, bream, snapper, perch and more. One of the best spots is directly next to the multi purpose room - very convenient!

Be sure to bring your racquets and play a few sets at the Narrawong Public Courts that join the campground. They're free and tennis bals are available at the park office or bring your own. This is a great recreational space with river views and contained fencing. There's a basketball ring and backboard too. Enter through a scenic tree arch near the camp office.

We have an LPG Swap N Go station for our patrons.

Our park has a contained playground designated for school group visitors weekdays; and available on the weekends for social clubs, groups and public caravan park users.

The adjoining oval has lots of space for school groups to run around with the addition of a stunning eco playground with ropes challenges, climbing apparatus and rock hopping challenges. It is a public space but expect to find it empty mid week and perfect for supervised play for our school groups.

Our kiosk is located in reception during open hours providing a range of products and services for our guests. These include hot food (fish and chips), general groceries, ice creams, lollies, drinks, papers, ice and fishing bait.

Camp Kitchen with under-cover cooking facilities incl. free BBQ’S, fridge, microwave, oven and heating for the winter months.

A great eating area for your group with provision to self cater simple meals for your team. This stunning venue is suitable all year round with ample room for groups plus two large commercial BBQ hotplates, double sink, oven, toaster, microwave and fridges. This shared facility will be kept exclusively for school groups mid week.

Three amenities blocks and 2 laundries. Even on the busiest of seasons we have room for everyone.
