Nearby Activities & Attractions

It`s tempting to keep it a secret, but some things are just too good not share. Narrawong Island Holiday Park is a place for fun and enjoyment for the whole family. Young or the young at heart will enjoy all that our park and region has to offer.

We have your seasons covered too. Summer is a time to swim frolic, go fishing and walk along the beach. Take advantage of the river or enjoy our lovely coastal afternoons with a beverage of your choice.

In the winter it`s time to explore a bit further maybe. Only 15 minutes from Portland a wonderful historic town under rated not crowded just waiting for you. There are also whales to be spotted (no guarantees) either from the beach at the park or via one of the many tours available.

Give us a call at the park for more information or read on below.

Walk a little or walk a lot. We can advise your group on what is age appropriate for students and what to see in your set time.  You can even begin you exploration of the trail at our park.

Sawpit & Mt Clay

Some of the best mountain biking to be had in the South-West. We'll bring the firewood and the food and make it a memorable day in the outdoors. It's only 8 minutes from Narrawong Island so we can do some snappy rotations of groups to run 3 or 4 sessions each day.

Well worth allowing a day here. We'll bring lunch out and meet you group there. This is one of the most stunning beaches in Victoria and home to the highest sea cliffs in the state. There's a full day seal walk or the short version with a boat ride to the seal colony. Nearby is the petrified forest and the blow holes... all short strolls from the Blow Holes car park. Cape Bridgewater has its own café and toilets are available. It is also a premier surfing venue with a safe, sandy beach and half to one metre waves for beginners. Our coaching partners, Go Surf may bring you here for lessons.
