Most weekends we have our coffee window open so grab a takeaway and have a stroll along the beach while fossicking for sharks teeth. Have your camera ready for some Whale watching (in the Winter months) our guests can be lucky enough to catch a glimpse from the sand dunes of a baby calf having a play while its Mother keeps a close watch.

For those wishing to explore a little further BIG4 Narrawong Island Holiday Park is also close to some great local attractions in Narrawong such as the Mt Clay Mountain Bike trails and bush walking tracks, Narrawong Lavender Farm and the Bay of Whales art Gallery.

In just a short 15min drive the historic town of Portland awaits to be explored. Jump on Portland’s Historic Cable Tram while enjoying a scenic tour and an extensive history lesson delivered by knowledgeable volunteers. Take a self-guided tour around the historic buildings. Nature lovers are in for a treat with a walk around Portland’s Fawthrop Lagoon for some bird watching and Koalas sleeping in the gum trees or take a picnic and relax in the Botanic Gardens.

The Discovery Bay Coastal Park, Cape Nelson Lighthouse, Cape Bridgewater Seal colony tour by boat and walk are just a few of the many activities on offer in the surrounding area of Portland.
